Production: Entirely in-house using 2025-era AI

One of Freed’s core company values is “Use AI for everything.” So when a hackathon came up, I took that opportunity to get a small group of people from across the org to create a TV-ready brand a them in just one day.

We started with nothing — no script, no plan, no process. By the end of the day, our scrappy team of engineers, accountants, recruiters, and other non-marketing roles had created something the whole company was proud of (and which won the hackathon). We used AI to create the clips, used our own in-house talent to record VO, then edited it all together in a few hours.

It’s not perfect — but it’s proven to be high-performing. Placing it in the header of the homepage increased conversion rates by 17%, and site engagement by 35%. And it was our most cost
